Eclipses of the Heart: The Rhythm of Forgetting and Returning

A quiet reading

There are moments when the heart eclipses, When the light of love fades Behind the shadow of forgetting, And we believe ourselves lost Separate, Alone.

In these moments, we forget The warmth of connection, The pull of the other, As if the light will never return.

But just as the sun is never truly gone, Love, too, is never far. In the darkness, There is a rhythm, A pulse that beats beneath the silence, Reminding us that the separation Is not the end, But the pause before the return.

When the light returns, When the eclipse passes, We remember Not just the love we lost, But the love that grew in the dark, In the forgetting.

For it is in the spaces between, In the eclipses of the heart, That love renews itself, Rises once more, Brighter than before.

Take a moment before choosing what comes next.
