A quiet reading
There is pain like this: a hollowing, an ache so wide it seems to have no shore.
Heartbreak is a wound. It does not need to be renamed as a gift before it can be endured.
The one who left matters. The one who stayed matters too. So does the love you carried, the future you imagined, the ordinary rituals now missing from the day.
Feel what you can feel, when you can feel it. Rest when the wave is too high. Grief is not punishment, and no one must plunge into every depth at once.
In time, the broken mirror may show more than the person who is gone. It may reveal the self you neglected, the boundary you crossed, or the tenderness you still know how to give.
Love is sometimes lost. Its capacity may remain. Not as proof that nothing ended, but as a quiet fact: the heart that loved before is still a heart.
Let the tears fall without making them holy. Let the ache change at its own pace.
If light enters the crack, welcome it. If it does not arrive today, you are not failing.
Healing is not the meaning of the pain. It is the careful life you may build beside it.
Take a moment before choosing what comes next.
