A quiet reading
Love is not a river that always runs smooth. It is the ocean, vast, untamed, shifting between calm and storm, depth and surface, pulling us close, then pushing us apart.
Today, the tide carried us to different shores. A mistake so small, yet it stretched between us, turning warmth into silence.
I made a mistake, an accident but your words felt like weight, and instead of lifting, they pressed down.
I wished for softness, for understanding over correction, for love to meet imperfection with an open hand, not a pointed finger.
You wished for honesty, for space to speak without fear, for love that could hear you, even when your voice carried fire.
When our truths crash, the instinct is to build walls, to guard our perspectives like sacred relics, to hold tighter to what we know.
But love is not about being right. It is about understanding about laying down the armor of certainty and walking unarmed into the heart of another.
So what is the lesson, Beloved? That love is not about who is right, but about how we soften in the face of friction? That criticism and care can share the same breath if only we listen without armor?
Let us meet again, not in agreement, but in understanding. Let us hold this space, not as a wound, but as a bridge. For love is not about never falling out of step, but about learning how to return, again and again, to the rhythm of us.
Love is not sameness. It is the willingness to listen, to stand in the storm of difference and choose, again and again, to reach for the other’s hand.
For if we can honor the way we see, without fearing the way we don’t, if we can embrace the space between us instead of trying to erase it, then we will know: love is not just about merging into one, but also about learning how to dance as two.
Come back to me. Not when the storm is over, but now, while it still rages. For love is not the absence of separation it is the courage to close the distance.
Now, let’s build the bridge, not to change each other, but to cross into deeper love.
Take a moment before choosing what comes next.
