The Moving Sea: Love as an Ocean Between Two Shores

A quiet reading

There is an ocean between us, A sea that stretches from the shores of my soul to yours. But this ocean is not a distance It is the life force of our love, The water that moves between us, Carrying whispers, touches, and dreams Across the waves.

I do not seek to merge our shores, For what beauty would there be If we lost our own landscapes? No, my love I celebrate the space, The endless, moving sea, That keeps us whole.

Let me fill your heart with love, But let me never take away from it. We drink from different wells, Yet our thirst is quenched by the same ocean. You, with your shoreline, Me, with mine, And this sea between us Endless, alive, Moving with the rhythm of the universe.

In the vastness of this ocean, I do not fear losing you. For every wave that rises, Every ripple that touches our shores, Brings us closer in ways words cannot capture. We are not apart We are two shores, Bound by the same sea.

Take a moment before choosing what comes next.
