I watched you when you were young, eyes wide with the world’s wonder, dancing as if gravity could never find you.

Years moved like tides. The weight of living settled on your shoulders. The morning in your eyes grew shadowed by what you had loved and lost.

I thought your innocence was gone.

I did not yet understand: it was changing.

The world carved lessons into your skin. You walked through its fires and returned with a deeper light, not untouched, but whole.

I wept for the soul you had become, beautiful because you had lived, loved, lost, and found yourself again.

The gift was never to remain beyond life’s reach. It was to be touched by life and still return to light.

Your innocence did not survive unchanged. You reclaimed it.

Take a moment before choosing what comes next.
